Ross Dress For Less - Security Guard Review
Went to Ross Rancho Cordova this Sunday, February 19th at 11am. Went and checked in and tried 7 clothing.
When I came out this security guard who was relieving for the attendant had questioned me about why I only turned in 5 pcs of clothing. I said it's because I'm purchasing the other clothing. Then he said its their policy that I turned all. I said I didn't know and as I was walking away he continues to rant about our exchange to the attendant that came back from her break.
I was offended by his tone that I walked back and again explained that I am purchasing the merchandise. He then said "that I am having a seizure, and that I should just chill!". He was screaming so loud that a couple customers had their necks high to see what was going on. I have shopped at Ross for 30 years but have never experienced such an awful, horrible and humiliating experience!.
He even got the audacity to go towards to the front of the store and continue to stare at me as I am paying upfront. I am not a criminal and I should not be treated as such. I am purchasing a $30 merchandise and I make over $100,000 and obviously I can certainly afford to pay.
This type of behaviour from your staff is outright rude and unacceptable and a representation of your company. I will never set foot to your store ever again and would certainly share this horrible experience with everyone I know!
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Fitting room procedures as stated on the stand when you walk up:
1. Please put all clothing on stand that you would like to try on.
2. Attendant will give you a number upon entering the fitting room.
3. Place ALL items back on stand while EXITING fitting room so that Attendant can count and match with number you entered.
It's really not that difficult and the security portion of Ross has set this up for a reason. Even if you are purchasing some items you tried on the Attendant still has the "count you out"
This complaint does not make any sense to me because why would any security guard tell you that you must return all of the merchandise you tried on instead of keeping what you wanted to buy and returning the rest of it?
Why would the security guard act like this on the job?
Is this a true story?
