Last night my daughter and i was shopping at Ross in Arlingtin, Tx 4646 Cooper st. While shopping my daughter walked past an open bend and as she did an associate tossed a copper bowl toward the same bend. The associate missed the bend causing the bowl to hit the floor. A male that has been straightening up the store since we entered, yelled "Ma'am you just knocked this bowl over on the floor!" My daughter then attempted to explain that it was the associate. The employee hen walked over to the associate, asked her and without making any eye contact with him she said no very softly (which spoke volumns to me, she seemed afraid of him.) He then snarled toward my daughter stating, " She said that she didn't do it!" and he stormed off. Once he was out of sight the lady came to my daughterand me saying, "He was just playing, we were just playing. " I then told her that he wasn't playing, it didn't seem like he was playing to me.

In an attpt to move forward, the employee came back in our direction so I asked him, " The associate over there said that you guys were playing, when you asked my daughter about that bowl." Then, he yelled " I wasn't playing, I don't play like that. I saw her (pointing at my daughter) knock that bowl over and blame the associate. " i interjected, "I watched the entire thing, your associate threw that bowl as my daughter was walking past the bend." He then told me that he asked the associate and she said that she didn't do it, to that I told him that I watched the entire thing. I then stated that the associate was lying. He repeated his statement, then I asked him if he was saying that my daughter was lying? He made a noise and walked off. I then walked up to the customer service counter and asked the young lady for the manager, while I was in mid sentence the male employee walked up and I then asked him for the manager because you just accused my daughter of lying. He then yelled, "I am the manager and I will not continue to take your verbal abuse, leave my store!" I then asked the young lady again for the store number and district or general manager information or business card. She pointed,to the poster behind me which listed Gina as the store manager with other contact information. All the while the said manager was yelling, "...my number is 1-800 get out of my store.." over and over. To which i explained that I was leaving as soon as I got this information.

I have shopped at many, many Ross stores and have NEVER felt discriminated against, disrespected, belittled, nor my presence was simply undesired! I can not believe that this type of person has been chosen o represent your brand, to represent the family theme that was created with the development of this chain. I am utterly speechless with the fact that he was allowed to manage a store with other associates assigned to him. The fact that he thought his behavior was appropriate was an emotional and professional case of what not to become as a manager. What type of expectations do you place on your management? Who else has received this type of treatment? How many countless customers were thrown out of your store at his hand. Bad call Ross!!!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.
