Someone needs to drop these charges and fix this policy.
I went into the store to return items I bought a week before from the store. They cost $25.
They offered me $4. They said without a receipt we have to give you the lowest amount. So I showed them the transaction on my phone. The rep called the manager.
The manager tried walking her through the transaction to find it. The rep couldn't figure it out. Marie admitted this to me. So they said they only could give me $4.
I bought these from the store a week ago. Still brand new with transaction from bank. I was so annoyed I went and got $23 worth of stuff. I left my items and said just exchange them out.
You have the transaction number. Now I'm getting charged with stealing. I would never steal from anyone. They were actually stealing from me.
If they do this to me then they do this to thousands of people. It isn't right. I was wrong walking out of the store. I wasn't taking $4 for items I bought a week before.
Now I have to go to court on 5/15.
They will charge me. I don't break laws.

When I tried to take it back the manager said nope so sorry you dont take Griffin back and I said well its only been two days and she says call corporate because we cant take it back so I did call corporate and guess what I got to get a refund however they told me to call corporate I guess as well and let me tell you a little bit about guess perfume They do not do anything for their perfume if it wasnt purchased online. Even if it was at Ross so Im not very impressed with the company of guess. All they said was 15% off if you order online Im not gonna order online because Im not gonna order any more perfume without smelling it first

I am requesting for this email to be sent to the appropriate department. There was a situation yesterday, February 5th around 9:38 a.m.
when I went to the Ross that is located on Shaw avenue in Clovis, California. One of the employees insinuated I was shoplifting and notified lost prevention. After showing him my purse I was very embarrassed and had said that I have been incarcerated most of my life and I would never jeopardize going back for stealing. He then said that people that go to prison are stupid.
I then raised my voice and got very angry. That is when the manager came out and asked me what was going on. I tried to explain to her that I was being accused of shoplifting and that the last prevention employee just called me stupid and he said that he was going to go to my place of employment and talk to my manager because I was talking to his manager and I was in my work attire still. He then kept making comments saying that there's no way that I could be a manager at my workplace and he's also said that he knew as soon as I walked in that I was up to no good.
This is a case of discrimination. The manager heard him say everything that he was saying and did nothing about it.
I am requesting a copy of the video footage to show proof that I was being discriminated against and also to show how I was treated. If they treated me this way then they have treated and will treat others this way. Something needs to be done right in regards to this please.
Needless to save, I ran out in tears and I have been thinking about it non-stop since yesterday.
I just cannot believe that I was treated that way. My phone number is 559-981-****. The best way to contact me would be through email since my work hours very. I will be waiting for a response.

December 13, 2022 at approximately 10:30 pm. I went to Ross at Poway and unfortunately my bracelet got stuck in one of the sweaters that I was trying on the floor and I dropped it.
At that time there was one employee and myself at the store only. I went home and later I realized that my bracelet was gone so I went back to the store. When I came back, the bracelet was gone. I have asked many times for help.
The other managers told me that only Anguie, the manager could look at the cámaras, but nobody told me that they cannot do that. They only do it if its something for their or their own benefit according to Anguie.
The manager refuses to help and she said unfortunately you lost it and thats the bad news. I want to make sure that your employee did not take my bracelet.

Preferred solution: Someone to review the cameras at Ross Poway on December 13 between 10:00-10:30 pm and see if the employee took my gold bracket with my name on it.

Almost every retail store has this policy. If return without receipt they will only give you the lowest price of the last 30(or 60 or 90) days. Your bank info just shows a total, not item specific details.
When you give them a bank statement they can look it up. Not hard for a business to do the right thing.
Marshall doesn't have this policy. Only place I know that does.
Nobody would take $4 for $25. .
Good thing it's 2023 and they could look up the transaction. I just bought them a week earlier from the store.
One of the items I've never seen for less then $19. Marshalls and Walmart don't do this. They will scan your card or look up transaction. Marshalls will even look it up by your number.
They will give you $4 for $25. They're stealing from us. I understand a lot of people steal.
